How do I display missing direction arrows for yahoo today's news windo?

When the yahoo home page displays, the little direction arrows in the lower R.H. corner that dispalys the thumbnail images (four at a time) is not there. Therefore, I cannot navigate foward or backward to see the next four news immages.
