I met a really nice guy but I didn't get his number, if it's meant to be I'll see him again, right?

So about 3 weeks ago I was out with my girlfriends at a nightclub. I was drunk and there were these guys standing behind us in the que outside and I nearly fell backwards, but this guy caught me and helped me straighten up. He introduced himself and we got talking. He payed me into the club and we walked into the club together. The club was packed and he took me up to the bar to buy me a drink, but then my friend came over and asked me to dance. I said yes and told the guy I'd come back over after a dance, but I forgot all about it as I bumped into old friends and was catching up with them. I looked everywhere for my guy but I couldn't find him. 3 weeks on I'm still thinking about him, I can't really remember what he looks like but I don't care, he was so different compared to other guys, I only remember his first name I remember he said he lives near the city that the nightclub is in. Will I just let it go and hope to bump into him again some day? If it's meant to be then it'll happen right?
