take an eyebrow comb and brush your eyebrows straight up onto your forehead, then take a scissors and trim all of the hairs that are too long and are coming up from your eyebrows. As long as you keep your brows trimmed down nicely, it shouldn't really matter which way the hairs are growing. Also, I recommend getting them professionally threaded. Threading is a new eyebrow technology, it turns out looking more clean and neat then waxing or plucking. It will cost about $12. You can find a salon that does this, or you may have places in your local mall that do it. Look into it! Good luck!
