Is there much differnece in the spl capabillity of the kicker 15" L7 v.s the kicker 15" Cvx?

im still debating on switching from the two 15" L7's to the 15" cvx's because the freq range on the L7 is 25-100 hertz and its 18-500 on the cvx,and i like destroying the subsonice range and all but i want to hit freq higher than 50hertz too. but i dont want to sacrifice alot of spl cause the L7 is slightly bigger than the cvx but same power handling. so my quest is does bigger cone make more spl or is it a power thing or even freq for that matter?
