Are JL w6 subs worth the money asked for?

IMO, worth every penny. I've installed many subwoofers over the years for customers, and nothing I've put in matched the SQ from the JL product line. Obviously, if you are looking for quantity of bass over quality, you can spend a lot less, and get more output, but the JLs are extremely clean and accurate, and not overly heavy on certain notes. I have a pair in separate 1.25 chambers (recommended spec) and they are just so amazingly clean and accurate. Yes, they are expensive, as is most of JLs products, but if you want quality sound reproduction, I would suggest the w6 line.
